Artiste Art and Craft Studio offers Ongoing Zentangle Classes and Painting Events in downtown North Attleboro Businesses
Artiste Studio has teamed up with North Attleboro’s downtown businesses Oven Essence Bakery and Dessert Restaurant and Natty Greene’s Tavern in offering ongoing Zentangle Classes and Make A Scene Paint Parties.
Zentangle® is an easy-to-learn, very relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. Through its meditative qualities, it increases focus and creativity and provides an increased sense of peace and personal well being.
Classes are taught by Certified Zentangle Teacher Cindy O’Brien, a North Attleboro resident, and she has developed independent classes which include learning six new tangles (drawings) for each class and then applying the tangles to an offered project. All classes are great for introducing beginners as well as those who are familiar with the drawing method and include the following projects: Bookmark, Shaped Magnets, Fun Transferred Image, Encouragement Card and Fun Transferred Word.
Ongoing Wednesday Zentangle morning classes are offered at Oven Essence, located at 111 North Washington Street, North Attleboro from 10am – 12pm with a cost of $23.00 per class including materials. Ongoing evening classes are available at Natty Greene’s Tavern, located at 79 East Street, North Attleboro on Mondays and Tuesdays from 6:30pm – 8:30pm with a cost of $23.00 per class including materials.
The studio has also scheduled ongoing Make A Scene Paint Parties on Mondays and Tuesdays from 7:00pm – 9:00pm at Natty Greene’s Tavern. Taught by local Plainville artist Sharon Grant, the paint events are open to all skill levels including beginners as the students are taught to paint stroke by stroke. Cost is $30.00 and includes all materials.
